Adding Cloned or Stock Ai Voice From Elevenlabs

Topa.io comes with a wide range of AI voice options for voicemails. However, if you’d like to clone your own voice or use your own preferred AI voice from ElevenLabs, you can easily integrate it by following the steps below.

Adding Voice from Elevenlabs

Step 1 — Add a stock voice in ElevenLabs (skip if cloning your own)

  1. Log in to your ElevenLabs dashboard.

  2. Click Voices.

  3. Browse or search for a voice.

  4. Click the ➕ (plus) icon to add it to My Voices.

  5. Go to My Voices.

  6. Click the three dots (⋯) next to your new cloned voice and select Copy Voice ID and save it for later to add to Topa.

  7. Skip to Step 3 to add voice to Topa.


Step 2 (Optional) — Clone your own voice in ElevenLabs

  1. In ElevenLabs, click Voices.

  2. Click Create a Voice → select Instant Voice Clone.

  3. Either:

    • Upload a pre-recorded audio (minimum 10 seconds), or

    • Record directly using your microphone by clicking Start.

  4. Record for at least 10 seconds, then click Pause.

  5. Play back the recording to confirm quality, then click Next.

  6. Enter a voice name.

  7. (Optional) Add a description.

  8. Check the consent box and click Save Voice.

  9. Click the three dots (⋯) next to your new cloned voice and select Copy Voice ID and save it for later to add to Topa.

  10. Go to Step 3

✅ Your cloned voice will now appear in My Voices and can be used like any other ElevenLabs voice.


Step 3 — Generate an ElevenLabs API key

  1. In ElevenLabs, go to Developers.

  2. Create a new API Key.

  3. Enable these permissions:

    • Text-to-Speech

    • Voices → Read

  4. Click Create Key and copy the key.


Step 4 — Add and verify the voice in Topa.io

  1. Log in to your Topa.io account.

  2. Navigate to AI Voices.

  3. Click Add Voice from ElevenLabs.

  4. Paste:

    • Voice ID

    • API Key

  5. Click Save Voice.

✅ The voice will now appear under AI Voices in Topa.io and is ready to use for voicemails.
